🏆 Player of the Game: Framber Valdez — Houston's staff held the Giants to six hits and three earned runs while striking out seven, keeping the game within reach until the offense broke through in extras.

For nine innings this one refused to break, with Houston and San Francisco trading single runs and neither side able to build anything until the game spilled into extras. The Giants' two home runs accounted for most of their offense, but they went quiet after pushing across a run in the seventh, and the Astros answered in the ninth to force the tenth.

That's when Houston finally cashed in, stringing together a three-run rally in the top of the tenth to turn a stalemate into a comfortable margin. The Astros drew five walks on the night and made them count late, while San Francisco went down in order in the bottom half to end it.
